HARP activities require funding! For example, two of our members have had to take separate flights to San Diego to provide HARP comments to the California Coastal Commission (CCC) concerning the proposed Trinidad Rancheria Hotel and Trinidad Harbor land ownership status. Obtaining the full administration record for a given CCC action, required for appeal of CCC decisions, can cost several thousand dollars.
Founding HARP members have contributed some of their own funds to our efforts, but we need more support from other members of the community who also wish to be certain that future development in Humboldt County is responsible and does not diminish our quality of life. Please help us develop a fund for our activities!
